Inspired by Philippians 3:20 – 4:3

Citizens of heaven.

Scene — Rain-washed café, soft light reflecting off wet streets. Naomi and Rachel sit across from each other, hands wrapped around steaming mugs.

Naomi: Ever feel like you don’t belong here? The world’s spinning faster, chasing sparks that fade. When we met, I finally felt understood.

Rachel: I know that ache. I see this life as a layover, not the destination. We’re citizens of a better country—Heaven. Not everyone shares that view, and that’s okay.

Naomi: Heaven sounds soothing—but how do you keep hope alive when everything around us feels cracked?

Rachel: By remembering that change is coming, for the world and us. One day we’ll be whole. Until then, we hold the line: love, serve, stay joyful, stand together.

Naomi: Unity’s hard lately—even among people of faith.

Rachel: That’s why we remind each other whose kingdom we belong to. If we’re headed to the same home, we fight for peace, not with each other. Faith should pull us closer, not push us apart.

Naomi: So I don’t have to fix the world—I just need to stay grounded in what lasts.

Rachel: Exactly. Eyes on forever, anchored in grace, shoulder to shoulder until home is finally in sight.

Eyes on forever, anchored in grace, shoulder to shoulder until home is finally in sight.
